Give That Woman an "F" in sociology, an "F" in geography, but an "A" in Chutzpah!

It would be difficult for any state in the country to say that it was a "Microcosm of America" But Alaska? Yes, Anchorage is really just a small New York, Juneau is a tiny Washington and Fairbanks is a...Denver?

And what equates with Wasilla? Peoria? All that tundra is sort of like the rolling hills of Kentucky, right? And Anchorage's auto body-shop row is just like - Detroit's General Motors!

It all happened after Katie Couric asked to name which periodicals and dailies she reads to get her "worldview"

COURIC: But what ones specifically? I’m curious.

PALIN: Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years.

COURIC: Can you name any of them?

PALIN: I have a vast variety of sources where we get our news.

News Bulletin: Fire in Alaska Governor’s residence destroys Governor Palin’s personal library. Both books were in brand new condition, and one of them had never even been colored in.

Palin has made gaff after gaff. It's no wonder I think her candidacy is a gaff.
Oh well, America must have its entertainment. If she gets elected, we'll hear a collective sign of relief from every stand-up comedian. It may even be a cheer.
