It may help to know that three out of the four were in Texas. It also helps to know this little word: prurience.It is, of course, Man Is Six Months Pregnant. The man in question was on Oprah and hails from Bend, OR - the Bible Belt rarely questions Texans (even if they're Mormon):

Rogers says Beatie was born a woman but "says that he has felt that he was a man since birth, since childhood. His wife, however, had a hysterectomy. So, she's unable to carry a child for the couple. "They decided they want to have a baby. They can use artificial insemination for Thomas to get pregnant. So he just decided, 'Why don't I do it?' They could have hired a surrogate. He could have provided the egg that could have been fertilized and gone to a surrogate. But he just said ... 'Why would I hire a surrogate when I could do it myself? Who's going to take better care of our child than myself?' ...."We talked to neighbors who said, 'This is a great couple. Whatever is right for them, is right for them.'

(AP) A 14-year-old girl gave birth in a restroom at her junior high, and the baby boy cried once before she tried to flush him down the toilet, killing him, officials said Thursday. An autopsy confirmed the baby was alive when born Wednesday at Cedar Bayou Junior High in Baytown, near Houston. The boy was probably full term and cried before the mother, an eighth-grader, tried to flush him, said police Lt. Eric Freed. The mother was taken to a hospital. People who knew her at school said she wore baggy clothing, and nobody suspected she was pregnant, The Houston Chronicle reported Thursday.


Busload of Girls Leaves Polygamist Ranch

A total of 52 girls, ages 6 months to 17 years, were bused away on Friday to be interviewed, but only 18 were immediately taken into state custody, said Texas Child Protective Services spokeswoman Marleigh Meisner. No arrests had been made. Meisner said welfare officials were looking for foster homes for the girls, most of whom have rarely been outside the insular world of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Man Shoots an Kills Wife's Doctor in Parking Lot


(AP) A man shot and killed his wife's doctor outside a medical office building in Texas before being critically wounded himself by a police officer, authorities said. The officer had been nearby when Julie Abbott was shot Friday in the building's parking lot, and he found a man standing over her with a gun in his hand, Authorities did not know a possible motive for the killing.

Focus, people! Focus! The man is transgendered but still has female organs and he and his wife are happy! They'll probably be better parents than most! Why? Because, in some ways they're better adjusted than you are! And they're not worried about God "hating" them, they're worried about people like you hating them!
